This will include routine operational maintenance and cleaning tasks; maintaining a variety of records and reports related to wastewater system operations and operate computers for process control; and monitoring the SCADA system. You will optimise processes to maximise efficiency and compliance. Taking the initiative to resolve process failures and manage asset maintenance and faults: directly or via escalation. As a senior member of the team, you will also be expected to support and develop other team members. What you’ll be doing as a Senior Technician – Waste Water Treatment Take responsibility for three operating sites in line with environmental permits to protect the environment; general maintenance of equipment and site, taking effluent samples to monitor and improve biological performance. Undertaking both reactive and planned maintenance, responding to alarms and fault finding to identify issues, fix these or escalate, planned maintenance of plant and equipment daily.
