Senior Technician

Astute''s Renewables Team is partnering with a leading global ICP/EPC contractor delivering major utility-scale solar developments across the West and South Midlands to recruit a Senior Technician to work across multiple operational solar projects.This role offers a competitive salary of 35,000 to 42,948, plus a 10% pension, private healthcare and life insurance, with a planned start date of November 2026.If you''re an experienced Technician with a strong electrical, this is an excellent opportunity to join a leading renewable energy contractor and support the ongoing operation and maintenance of multiple solar sites.Responsibilities of the Senior Solar TechnicianReporting to the Senior OandM Technician, you will:Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance across LV and HV electrical systems at operational solar sites.Diagnose and resolve faults across DC/LV systems, circuit protection and associated equipment.Ensure all maintenance work complies with Electrical Safety Rules (ESRs), RAMS and site safety procedures.Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare RAMS and LV switching schedules.Coordinate and oversee contractors, subcontractors and specialist suppliers where required.Support maintenance procedure development, continuous improvement and a positive HSandE culture.Liaise with operational management and site teams, completing all required maintenance and administrative documentation.Required qualifications and experienceTo be considered, you must have:A ..... full job details .....
