Senior Technical Specialist (TDG) Grade 12

Your new company Hays Recruitment have partnered with Leicestershire County Council in the search for a Senior Technical Specialist with a strong knowledge of Unified Comms.As the SME in the team, you will own and be responsible for the provision of maintenance, support, development and consultancy for specific technology stacks within the Unified Comms infrastructure to ensure that IT system services remain stable, reliable and resilient in a cost-effective manner.Mentoring and guiding technical specialists and other technical staff is key as part of the knowledge-sharing ethos within the team.You will also be expected to co-ordinate small teams of technicians to deliver new services and service improvements.Your new role will involveOwn, support, install and implement IT infrastructure solutions related to Unified Comms and Corporate email delivery.Liaise with team members, the wider IT department and our customersAdvise on technical and security standards to ensure compliance, security of systems and services to maintain high service availability.The role encompasses all aspects of networking, includingNetwork related SecurityCloud, Hosted and SaaS, PaaS and IaaS ServicesTelephony and Unified CommunicationsMessaging and Email Services Identity Management Load Balancing and Certificate Management Windows Server Administration Disaster Recovery Remote Access Services Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) What you need to succeedIn-depth experience of Unified Comms, ideally ..... full job details .....
