The Business and the MomentOur client is one of the UK''s leading construction materials producers, part of a global building materials group. Its regional business across the South West and Wales employs more than 500 people across quarries, asphalt plants, readymix concrete and road surfacing operations, from Mid Wales to Hampshire and Dorset. The business has recently brought its surfacing contracting teams together with its materials operations, creating one of the most complete quarry-to-road operations in the region, and it needs a technical leader who can make the most of that. The RoleAs Senior Technical Manager you will lead the regional aggregates and asphalt technical team of 28, including quality managers, technical managers, a technical systems manager and technical coordinators supporting road surfacing, together with a UKAS accredited asphalt laboratory.
