Senior Technical Architect Location: Mostly remote with occasional travel to Newcastle Day Rate: £604/day, Inside IR35 Duration: 2 months (one-off piece of work) Clearance: SC cleared Sector: Public A major public sector organisation needs an experienced architect for a focused two-month engagement, working alongside its core architecture insights team. The aim is to move governance from a periodic review activity to a continuous, evidence-driven architecture compliance capability. The architecture insights platform becomes the central point for architectural assurance, with faster delivery, stronger compliance, better architecture data quality and more effective governance as the outcomes. Key responsibilities: Define the compliance fact sheet meta-model within the organisation''s enterprise architecture tool Identify mandatory compliance domains, for example data protection impact assessment, accessibility and architecture Define a governance readiness scoring model Model, test and demonstrate the approach in a sandpit environment Pilot in production with 2-3 delivery teams, working closely with the governance team Integrate with existing architecture and governance processes Establish KPI targets Note: This role requires SC clearance.
