Description Technical Accounting and Transaction Support Prepare comprehensive technical accounting papers relating to group disposals and restructuring activities. Assess and document relevant IFRS considerations and accounting treatments. Analyse disposal groups, carrying values, transaction proceeds and associated accounting impacts. Prepare gain/loss on disposal calculations and deconsolidation assessments. Evaluate foreign currency reserves and other balances requiring recycling through the financial statements. Draft accounting conclusions and recommendations supported by robust technical analysis. Financial Reporting and Disclosures Prepare IFRS-compliant disclosure notes relating to disposals, restructurings and significant transactions. Draft disclosures covering areas such as judgements, estimates and complex accounting treatments. Produce supporting journals and accounting calculations for group reporting purposes. Prepare audit-ready documentation to support external review and challenge.
