Senior Technical Account Manager

Senior Technical Account Manager Alexander Steele Recruitment is working in partnership with a successful and growing food manufacturer to recruit a Senior Technical Account Manager. This is a key customer-facing technical role, taking ownership of relationships with major UK retailers and ensuring the business consistently meets customer, legal, food safety and quality requirements. Working closely with the Head of Technical and wider business, you will act as the senior technical contact across a portfolio of key retail accounts, coordinating technical communication, leading improvement initiatives and supporting the successful launch of new products. Key Responsibilities: Act as the main technical contact for key UK retail customers, building strong and effective relationships. Lead and coordinate technical communication between customers and internal teams including Technical, NPD, Operations, Commercial and Supply Chain. Manage customer requirements, technical requests, KPI scorecards and improvement plans. Lead customer technical visits, meetings and audits, ensuring actions are communicated and delivered. Drive improvements in customer complaints, including root cause analysis and effective corrective actions. Support NPD projects from concept through to launch, including specifications, QAS, shelf-life, nutritional information, artwork and factory documentation.
