Senior Team Lead Substation for a major Offshore Wind Project based in Ireland

Responsibilities

• Lead the substation design team in delivering high?quality designs and safety coordination across a diverse portfolio of transmission and distribution projects.
• Manage HV project design support across internal and external delivery models (EPC & D&B).
• Establish and maintain HV project substation template designs and design libraries.
• Coordinate with external framework designers.
• Develop and implement plans to improve and standardise HVP processes, incorporating lessons learned and project review feedback.
• Undertake Lead Engineer responsibilities as required, supporting HV project design across internal and external delivery teams.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance in project conception, scoping, costing, design, programming, commercial aspects (customer and renewable connections), design review, training, mentorship, and client interfaces.
• Oversee specialist work streams and approve all key work outputs.
  

Requirements

Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent relevant work experience
