Manchester, United Kingdom — Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week) with hybrid working; presence at the Manchester office is required.

£85,000
per annum; negotiable dependent on experience.
OverviewWe are working with a large UK payroll provider and leading firm of Accountants and Business Advisers operating across the UK, Ireland and the Nordics. They are expanding and require a talented individual within their Senior Tax Advisory team.
Key Responsibilities
Client Portfolio Management
— Own and oversee a portfolio of corporate tax clients across a variety of sectors; manage and deliver high-quality tax compliance services, including reviewing corporation tax returns, computations, and filings; monitor workflow and ensure deadlines are met.
Tax Advisory and Planning
— Deliver bespoke tax advisory projects (restructuring, acquisitions/disposals, RandD tax relief, capital allowances, international tax issues); research complex technical areas and present practical solutions; collaborate with partners on strategic tax planning and business development.
Team Leadership and Development
— Coach and develop junior team members; contribute to strategy by nurturing talent and fostering a high-performance culture; assist in internal training and knowledge sharing.
Client Relationship Building
— Build long-lasting relationships through effective communication and understanding client needs; identify opportunities to provide additional services and add value.
Requirements
CTA / ACA / ACCA / CA qualified (or equivalent)
Proven experience in a Corporate Tax or Mixed Tax role within a UK accountancy practice
Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and HMRC processes
Experience managing a client portfolio and leading advisory work
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain complex tax matters clearly
Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify value-adding opportunities for clients
Previous experience leading or mentoring junior staff is highly beneficial
