Senior Tax Manager

Overview

psd group is seeking a Senior Tax Manager in Staffordshire, United Kingdom. The client is long established in the local area and one of the top 15 accountancy practices nationally. The role combines personal and corporate tax knowledge to provide a bespoke tax service for a varied client base. You will lead on complex projects, manage and develop your team, and help shape the strategic direction of the tax function.Responsibilities

Reviewing and completing complex personal tax returnsManaging P11Ds and advising clients on a range of tax mattersLeading and mentoring junior staff, reviewing their work and supporting their developmentOwning client relationships, attending meetings and offering strategic adviceWorking on succession planning, corporate restructuring, and advisory projectsDealing with HMRC tax enquiriesContributing to monthly management meetings and driving continuous improvementRequirements

CTA qualified (or equivalent) with strong post-qualification experienceProven experience managing a private client portfolio in practiceStrong personal tax knowledge and a solid understanding of CT and IHTStrategic advisory experience (IHT, CGT, succession planning, etc.)Experience advising OMBs and high-net-worth individualsLeadership experience with a track record of developing and supporting a teamA client-focused approach and excellent communication skillsIn return you can expect
