Senior Tax Accountant - Music and Entertainment - Location: London / Hybrid We''re working with a specialist media and music accountancy firm looking to hire a Senior Tax Accountant to join their growing Tax and Compliance team. This isn''t your typical general practice role. Our client works with a diverse portfolio of musicians, artists, bands, touring professionals and high-profile creatives, alongside trusts and owner-managed businesses. The work is fast-paced, varied, and often a little more interesting than your standard SME tax return. The firm is building out its year-end and compliance tax function, and this role will sit at the heart of it - focused on producing returns, managing compliance, and handling HMRC queries across a unique and high-profile client base. The Role You''ll take ownership of a compliance-heavy portfolio while supporting the wider firm on tax matters. Key responsibilities include: Preparing personal, corporate and partnership tax returns Managing a portfolio of individuals, trusts and creative businesses Handling HMRC enquiries and compliance queries Supporting with VAT, payroll, P11Ds and Making Tax Digital requirements Assisting with year-end reporting and ensuring all deadlines are met Working closely with accounts and business management teams The work is deadline-driven, detail-focused and requires someone comfortable operating in a busy, specialist environment.
