Job Title: Senior Systems EngineerLocation: Warton – OnsiteSalary: £47,683 dependent on skills and experienceWhat you’ll be doing: Designing and assisting in the build of prototypes, products and systems suitable for testing, including the development of new products using novel technologies. Carrying out system and sub-system validation and verification, including supporting system design reviews. Doing component/interface specification and selection. Application of Control Systems Engineering practices to ensure design safety, reliability, integration and performance requirements are met. Tailoring and developing Systems Engineering practices to suit the needs of a particular project / programme of work. Carrying out problem solving and providing timely corrective actions on all assigned defects and issues.Responsibilities

Essential
Degree, HND/HNC or equivalent experience in a STEM disciplineKnowledge of Systems Engineering and the Engineering Lifecycle, typically applying subject knowledge in an integrated platform which may involve safety and/or cyber security related activitiesExposure to working with stakeholders outside of the local team, nationally and/or internationallyDesirable
Experience of working on complex computing solutions in areas such as systems management, avionics/IMA based solutions, systems integration, safety/cyber security and/or equivalent complex programmesKnowledge and experience in Object Oriented design and Model Based engineering tools and techniquesAwareness of Engineering and business processes, familiarity with implications of decisions on time / cost / quality and ability to support timely and accurate performance reportingBenefits
