Senior Systems Engineer (Network Technologies Specialist)Location: Ringwood, Hampshire Salary: £45,000 £55,000Hours: 37.5 hours per week The RoleOur client is looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer (Network Technologies Specialist) with a keen interest in designing and delivering high-quality network solutions. You will support in the technical delivery of complex projects, working closely with stakeholders across the business, while also supporting operational excellence through incident resolution, preventative maintenance, and continuous service improvement.Skills and Experience Essential:Proven expertise in scoping, designing, implementing, and maintaining LAN / WAN architectures, VPNs, firewalls, and routing solutions.Strong knowledge of enterprise networking technologies, including switching, routing, firewalling, and wireless infrastructure.In-depth experience working with enterprise-grade network hardware.Solid understanding of network protocols and services, including TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and MPLS.Experience with cloud networking concepts and integrations (e.g. Azure Virtual Networks, VPN gateways, load balancers).Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across complex and diverse network environments.Demonstrable experience producing both high-level and low-level design documentation.Good working knowledge of network security principles and technologies, including IDS / IPS, NAC, SSL / TLS, and Zero Trust models.At least five years ..... full job details .....
