Senior Systems EngineerGuildfordPermanent Full-Time 55,000 - 70,000An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join a growing Systems team, leading complex space missions from LEO to GEO and beyond. This role offers full cradle-to-grave mission involvement, from concept and bid support through AIT, launch, commissioning, and operations - providing the chance to see your work delivered to space on a rapid timescale.The role requires full on-site working initially. Once established, there may be the opportunity to work from home 1-2 days per week, subject to business and project needs.Key ResponsibilitiesLead system engineering activities across all project phases, from requirements through operationsPerform system-level design of space and ground segments, including mission analysis and trade-offsSupport bid and tender activities, working closely with Sales and Engineering teamsManage requirements, interfaces, verification, validation, and test planningLead or support technical studies, cost/risk/schedule trades, and reviewsAct as a technical focal point for assigned mission productsInterface with customers and internal stakeholders at all project stagesMentor junior engineers and review technical workManage subcontractors, work packages, and system-level documentationRequired ExperienceExperienced spacecraft Systems Engineer (ideally 7+ years'' experience)Proven cradle-to-grave mission design experienceStrong background in requirements ..... full job details .....
