Senior Systems Engineer

Job Overview:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Systems Engineer to join a highly skilled Systems Team supporting the development of complex software-enabled systems. You will play a key role in requirements management, system design, verification, validation and acceptance activities, whilst contributing to safety, security, human factors, performance, availability and reliability considerations across the full engineering lifecycle. Location: New Malden, UK Work Mode: Hybrid, 3-4 days per week onsite Pay Rate: £67.47 per hour (Inside IR35) Contract Length: 12 Months Start Date: ASAP Key Responsibilities: Maintain the requirements database, including associated contractual requirements and acceptance criteria. Lead testing, verification and acceptance activities for both hardware and software releases. Elicit, analyse and agree system requirements, assessing changes in capability against established design baselines. Develop design specifications and undertake system design activities in accordance with technical and quality standards. Develop, maintain and improve engineering processes and procedures in response to technical developments and operational requirements. Coordinate and conduct technical analyses, investigations and evaluations, assessing technical options and producing reports and recommendations.
