Senior Systems Engineer

Job Title: Systems EngineerLocation: RugeleyTerm: Initial 12 MonthsIR35: INSIDEHourly Rate: DOEWFH: HybridThe RoleWe are seeking an experienced Systems Engineering Contractor to support the delivery of complex, secure engineering programmes within a highly regulated defence environment. This role will involve working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, stakeholders and customers to develop, manage and verify system requirements, support integration activities and ensure the successful delivery of secure, mission-critical systems.The successful candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, requirements management and information assurance, with experience operating within UK defence or similarly security-conscious environments.Key Responsibilities:Support system verification and validation activities across the engineering lifecycleAnalyse and interpret system requirements to develop verification strategies and test approachesContribute to system integration, testing, and validation of electronic and electrical subsystemsParticipate in design and verification reviews, assessing impacts on system performance and functionalityCollaborate with systems, electronics, and software engineers to resolve integration challengesMaintain clear documentation and traceability of verification activitiesEssential Skills and Experience:Demonstrable expence designing and supporting secure systems within UK MoD or defence environments.Strong understanding of ..... full job details .....
