Overview
An opportunity to join a leading engineering consultancy known for its human-centric and sustainable approach to design. The role sits within a high-performing HV team delivering power systems analysis and design across complex infrastructure and mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery of HV/MV/LV power systems analysis and design.
- Perform load flow, fault level, harmonic (G5/5), and protection studies.
- Design substations and points of connection from LV to HV.
- Conduct earth rise, touch potential, and resilience studies.
- Produce specifications, schematics, and reports.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and support team development.
Requirements
- Strong experience in HV engineering or power systems design.
- Proficiency in tools like ETAP, Amtech, Revit, BIM, CAD.
- Deep understanding of substation design, protection coordination, arc flash, CT calculations, and power quality studies.
- Ability to model complex networks and conduct advanced studies.
- Experience in client-facing consultancy roles and mentoring.
