      <description>Location: Ampthill | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | Senior Systems Engineer    Location:  Ampthill   Salary:  Up to -64,000 DOE  We are looking for an experienced  Senior Systems Engineer  to join our team in Ampthill, working on complex and technically challenging programmes within a classified environment.   Please note:  Due to the nature of the work, candidates must already hold a  high level of UK security clearance .   Key Responsibilities    Requirements derivation and management.  System architecture and subsystem derivation.  Definition and delivery of technical trade studies and KPIs.  Development of Sequence, Activity and Use Case diagrams.  Interface definition, including ICDs and IDLs.  Working with data distribution systems and data links.  Supporting research and development activities.  Collaborating with software and multidisciplinary engineering teams.    Experience Required    Systems engineering experience within a  classified environment .  Experience with architecture frameworks such as  UAF/NAF .  SysML/UML experience using  CAMEO and/or Rhapsody .  Experience with  IBM Jazz, DOORS-NG and Test/Quality Manager .
