PE Global is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior System Engineer to join our client based in Cambourne, UK. The role is an initial 24-month contract and the rate for this role is 31 PAYE p/hour or 41.90 Umbrella p/hour. Key Responsibilities - Define and manage System, Hardware, Embedded, ATE, Software and Integration requirements throughout the product lifecycle. - Contribute to the design and development of multidisciplinary connected device and IoT solutions. - Define technical protocols and support system architecture and integration activities. - Lead technical workstreams within multidisciplinary RandD projects. - Provide technical problem solving and develop proof-of-concept solutions to address complex engineering challenges. - Support the design and execution of testing, investigations and field testing activities. - Work closely with System Engineers, Embedded Software Developers, Hardware Engineers, Integration Engineers and Backend and Frontend teams. - Work within a Product and Platform team to deliver solutions that are valuable, viable, usable and technically feasible. - Support the development and delivery of connected device products from discovery through to delivery. Requirements - BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. - Minimum of 5 years'' experience in Systems Engineering within multidisciplinary systems. - Experience working with communication products, embedded systems, hardware and RF systems. - Strong understanding of ..... full job details .....
