Senior Syndicate Accountant

HFG are currently partnering with a Lloyd''s insurer who is seeking an experienced Senior Syndicate Accountant to join its London-based finance team. Great opportunity to work within a high-performing syndicate environment, supporting regulatory reporting, financial accounting, and operational finance activities across multiple entities. You will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial and regulatory reporting, working closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders, contributing to process improvements, financial control, and strategic finance initiatives.The role:Maintain strong financial controls and balance sheet reconciliationsIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracyCollaborate with teams including Underwriting, Claims, Reinsurance, IT, and Credit ControlSupport finance transformation initiatives, including system and process enhancementsAssist with audit processes, liaising with internal and external auditorsPartner with wider Finance teams (FPandA, Tax, Actuarial, Treasury) on reporting and analysisContribute to ad-hoc projects and strategic ..... full job details .....
