Senior Sybase DBA - London Location: London Working Model: 5 days onsite Contract: 6 months rolling IR35: Inside IR35 We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Sybase DBA to join a business-critical technology environment in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior database specialist with strong hands-on experience supporting high-availability Sybase environments, ideally within banking or financial services. Key Skills andamp; Experience 10+ years'' experience as a Sybase DBA Expert hands-on experience with Sybase ASE and Sybase IQ Strong Sybase Replication Server experience HA/DR, Warm Standby, MSA and Failover Clustering Performance tuning, query optimisation and database troubleshooting Backup, recovery, dump/load and restore Large-scale Sybase IQ/Data Warehouse environments Linux/Unix administration Shell, Perl and/or Python Scripting Database migrations, upgrades, modernisation and decommissioning Data centre/infrastructure migration experience Production support, incident management, RCA and SLA management Banking or Financial Services experience is highly desirable If you have strong Sybase ASE/IQ and Replication Server experience and are interested in this opportunity, please send your latest CV and availability. ..... full job details .....
