An opportunity has opened with a global electrical manufacturer specialising in MV/HV switchgear, protection and power distribution equipment, joining an established engineering team in Huddersfield. This isn''t a role where you''ll be expected to arrive knowing every product inside out. We''re looking for engineers with a strong electrical foundation who want to develop specialist knowledge within switchgear design and application engineering. You''ll work on the technical development of MV power distribution projects, taking customer requirements and translating them into practical engineered solutions across switchgear, protection and control systems, substations and associated distribution equipment. The Role Develop technical designs and application solutions for MV/HV power distribution equipment Produce and review single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, equipment configurations and technical documentation Work with MV switchgear, circuit breakers, protection relays, CT/VT arrangements and control systems Interpret customer specifications and translate requirements into engineered solutions Support tendering and commercial teams with technical input during bid stages Provide engineering support throughout project delivery, manufacturing ..... full job details .....
