Fixed Term Senior Sustainability ManagerReed Talent Solutions is proud to partner with London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) to recruit a Senior Sustainability Manager for a 9-month fixed-term contract (4 days/week). This is a fantastic opportunity to lead sustainability efforts across Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (QEOP).This role is pivotal in delivering LLDC’s Climate Action Strategy, with a strong focus on sustainable development in the built environment. We are looking for someone with deep technical expertise in net zero carbon and science-based targets (1.5°C). Experience with Heating Networks is a bonus!ResponsibilitiesSupport the Head of Sustainability in delivering the Climate Action Strategy.Advise across the development pipeline to ensure sustainability targets are met.Monitor and report on sustainability KPIs.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive sustainable outcomes.Lead feasibility work for decarbonisation projects (e.g., District Heating Network).Represent LLDC in industry working groups and policy discussions.What We’re Looking ForProven experience in sustainability within the built environment (construction).Strong technical knowledge of net zero and climate science targets.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Experience in policy, planning, and sustainability strategy execution.Project management proficiency with a sustainability focus.What You’ll GetLLDC salary and benefits, including excellent pension contributions.Hybrid working: 2 days in Stratford office (Tues and Wed preferred), 2 days remote.Work on high-impact projects shaping the future of QEOP.Professional development in a leading sustainability role.Network with top professionals in the sustainability sector.Apply now with your CV.
