Senior Surveyor

Fraser Edwards Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a social housing client for a Senior Surveyor for a long term contract in Harlow. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Surveyor to take ownership of a varied workload, oversee surveying projects from inception through to completion, and play a key role in maintaining the quality, safety and compliance of housing assets. The successful candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage projects effectively, ensuring all works are delivered to the required standards, within agreed timescales and budgets, and in line with relevant legislation and industry regulations. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee a range of surveying projects from initial assessment and planning through to completion. Carry out property inspections, surveys and technical assessments, identifying defects, maintenance requirements and areas for improvement. Prepare detailed reports, specifications and recommendations to support planned maintenance, repairs and improvement programmes. Monitor the quality of works, ensuring contractors deliver in accordance with agreed specifications, budgets and timescales. Ensure all surveying activities comply with relevant building regulations, health and safety requirements, statutory obligations and industry best practice.
