37.5 hours per week, shifts vary between 7:00 am and 9:30 pm, Monday to Sunday (on a shift rota basis).Contract:

To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate exposure to the following areas of expertise:Autism and Learning DisabilitiesSight LossComplex Health NeedsPEG FeedsEpilepsyManual Handling/Hoisting/Personal CareAdministering MedicationsQCF in Health and Social Care Level 2 Diploma (or equivalent) with willingness to undertake a Level 3 in Health and Social Care and demonstrate reasonable knowledge of regulatory standards for supported/residential living.Please note that holding a UK driving licence is essential to be considered for this role.What will you be doing?

Fir Tree Lodge is a 10-bed purpose-built residential home for adults with complex care needs, learning disabilities and sight loss. With the support of our amazing team, who are positive, non-judgemental, and have a consistent approach, they deliver exceptional care. We are growing and looking to strengthen our support worker team to share in future successes and empower lives. The people we support need help with all aspects of daily living, including personal care and meeting nutritional needs. Being physically fit is key, as all of the people we support are wheelchair users and use hoists to support mobility.
