Senior Support Worker / Senior Carer Location: Braunton, North Devon Pay: £13 per hour, increasing to £13.50 £14 after probation. Contract: Permanent Shifts: Days and nights according to the service rota Positions available: Four full time positions The Brookes Recruitment Group is recruiting an experienced Senior Support Worker or Senior Carer for a specialist residential care service in Braunton. The service supports adults whose needs arise from physical disabilities and long-term neurological conditions, including acquired brain injury, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, dysphagia and learning disabilities. Support is personalised around each individual s needs, wishes and aspirations, with a focus on independence, confidence and community involvement. The role As a Senior Support Worker, you will take responsibility for leading shifts and supporting the wider care team to deliver safe, respectful and person-centred care. Your responsibilities will include: Leading and coordinating the staff team during allocated shifts Administering medication safely and accurately Completing medication records and associated documentation Supporting colleagues with care delivery and decision-making Providing personal care and practical support where required Following individual care plans, risk assessments and support plans Promoting independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing Monitoring individuals and reporting changes or concerns Completing accurate daily records and effective ..... full job details .....
