Senior Support WorkerHelp people with learning disabilities and mental health needs live fulfilling, active and independent lives.Position: Senior Support WorkerLocation: East LancashireSalary: £14 per hour, approximately £26,936 per annum, plus £67 per sleepoverHours: Full-time, 37 hours per weekClosing Date: 23 September 2026About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Support Worker to join a positive and supportive team in East Lancashire.This is a hands-on role combining direct support with first-line management responsibilities. You will support people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and additional complex needs, helping them enjoy greater independence and take part in activities they value.Working closely with the Team Leader and wider staff team, your key responsibilities will include:Providing compassionate, person-centred supportAssisting with the supervision and development of specialist support staffSupporting the management of staff rotasHelping to develop and deliver individual support packagesPromoting a safe, effective and smoothly run serviceTaking part in the shared on-call rotaWorking flexibly, including evenings and alternate weekendsThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Support Worker who is ready to take on greater responsibility and develop their leadership and management skills.About YouYou will have significant experience of supporting people with complex needs and a genuine commitment to helping ..... full job details .....
