Senior Support Worker .About the Role:As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, empowering them to live fulfilling and independent lives. You''ll act as a mentor to other staff, lead by example, and ensure the smooth running of daily operations.Your responsibilities will include:Supporting residents with their individual needs, including personal care, daily activities, and social engagement.Leading shifts, ensuring care plans and risk assessments are followed.Providing guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.Promoting independence and choice while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.Participating in weekend shifts on a rotational basis (1 in every 3 weekends).What we''re looking for:Experience working with adults with learning disabilities.Strong leadership and organizational skills.A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to care.NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).Flexibility to work weekends as part of the rota.What we offer:Competitive pay of £13.64 per hour.Opportunities for training and professional development.A supportive team and a rewarding working environment.Make a real difference in the lives of others.
