About Us
We provide safe, nurturing semi-independent accommodation and bespoke support for young people, helping them develop the skills and confidence they need for independent living. We work to the highest care standards, ensuring a positive and structured environment for every young person we support.
What You''ll Do
Support young people in gaining essential life skills: cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene, shopping, budgeting, and more.
Help them attend important appointments (health, education, social) and accompany them where needed.
Safeguard children and young people, knowing when and how to escalate concerns.
Build positive, professional relationships-even with those whose behaviour may challenge-by understanding their needs and responding appropriately.
Work effectively with external agencies, including social services.
Work independently with young people and keep detailed, accurate records and reports.
Use strong organisational and administrative skills to manage tasks effectively.
Provide guidance and oversight to colleagues where required.
Attend training to keep skills and knowledge up to date.
What We''re Looking For
At least 2 years'' experience in Health & Social Care, with recent experience working in an OFSTED-registered children''s home.
Proven ability to work with children and young people aged 5 to 18, supporting their development and safeguarding their welfare.
Hold a Level 3 qualification (QCF/NVQ) in Health & Social Care (Children) within the required timeframe.
Enhanced DBS check - (Update Service).
Full UK driving licence - having your own vehicle is a strong advantage.
