Senior Support Worker

Do you have the commitment and positive values to make a difference to the lives of people living in our Oaklea House supported living service in Barrow in Furness? Our Supported Living Service in Barrow provides person-centred support to adults who have learning disabilities, some of whom are on the autistic spectrum and have mental health needs. We are looking to recruit passionate and motivated Senior Support Workers with a genuine interest in providing quality care to the people we support and becoming part of our friendly and energetic staff team. You will provide person-centred care and support to tenants to take part in all aspects of everyday life and to enjoy a wide range of activities. You will have skills in positive communication and engagement and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the young people we support. You will have the maturity to be able to work within a positive behaviour support framework, to accept responsibility and to grow in confidence as a skilled practitioner. You must be able to follow agreed guidelines and to work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos.
