The Role you will be doing; The person will largely operate independently, with support set out for holidays, absence and general cover. Core responsibility: Manage inbound supplier deliveries, predominantly from Egypt, through to the Hartlepool site. Shipment management: Take ownership of planned shipments and provide weekly updates / meetings with Heads of Departments. Logistics: Liaise with shipping and transport providers. Commercial responsibility: Ensure shipping rates are measured and agreed using FOB (Free on Board) Incoterms. About You; Previous experience in international shipping / freight forwarding, import logistics, supplier coordination is essential Egypt / Middle East trade would be welcomed, although this is not essential.
