We''re looking for a proactive Procurement Leader to join our team in Gloucester. This role is ideal for someone with strong supplier management and purchasing experience who wants to make a real impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Manage a portfolio of suppliers, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets are achieved.

• Build strong supplier relationships and drive performance improvements.

• Negotiate deadlines, oversee supplier capacity, and resolve shortages.

• Monitor logistics and on-time delivery, escalating issues where necessary.

• Lead root cause analysis and implement recovery plans to manage supplier risks.

• Collaborate with internal teams across Purchasing, Quality, and Program Management.

• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.

• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).

• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and supplier management skills.

• Excellent communication and commercial awareness.

• Aerospace or engineering sector experience is a bonus, but not essential.

• Eligibility to obtain security clearance for this opportunity.
