Senior/Supervising Social Worker - Full Time, permanent.

Basic Salary: up to -43,626.47 per annum, dependent upon experience

An exciting opportunity for a Senior/Supervising Social Worker to join our OUTSTANDING fostering agency in the North East.

About the Role:

We are currently looking to recruit a Senior/Supervising Social Worker for our friendly and dynamic team to work with foster carers in the North East.

• You will be responsible for the recruitment, training, assessment, support and supervision of a range of foster carers ensuring high quality placements for looked after children.

About You

The successful candidate must have:

• A motivated and organised professional, able to work independently while building strong relationships with colleagues and foster carers.
• Excellent assessment, communication and report-writing skills, along with confident IT skills.
• A Social Work Qualification with current SWE registration.
• Passionate about improving outcomes for children, you'll bring enthusiasm, initiative and a commitment to our innovative and child-focused approach, whether you're new to fostering or an experienced Supervising Social Worker.
• Full UK Driving License and access to your own car.

Desirable: Experience in fostering and children's services, but we welcome applications from less experienced candidates. You'll also have a good understanding of fostering, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
