This role will focus on the design and delivery of HV/EHV substation projects up to 400kV, working as part of a highly skilled engineering team on complex and technically challenging schemes within the power sector. Key Responsibilities: * Produce concept, preliminary and detailed primary design solutions for substations up to 400kV * Develop and review general arrangement drawings, substation layouts and single line diagrams * Carry out design calculations including busbar sizing, short circuit studies, cable sizing, lighting, lightning protection and switchroom calculations * Prepare and review technical specifications and associated design documentation * Conduct site surveys and liaise with project and construction teams * Participate in hazard review meetings and promote a strong safety-by-design culture * Ensure designs are delivered to programme, quality and client requirements Requirements: * Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or r...
