Senior Structural Technician

Join a collaborative engineering team delivering diverse building projects, where you’ll use Revit and AutoCAD to produce high-quality structural models and drawings, coordinate designs across disciplines, and help ensure accurate, buildable solutions. You’ll take ownership of technical delivery, support BIM workflows and mentor junior technicians, with opportunities to further develop your technical skills and career.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce 3D structural models, GA drawings, sections and details.
• Work with steel, concrete, masonry and timber structures.
• Translate engineering design intent into accurate, buildable technical information.
• Coordinate structural models with architectural, civil and MEP disciplines.
• Identify and resolve modelling and coordination issues.
• Review and check drawings and models produced by others.
• Support BIM processes and digital workflows.
• Mentor junior technicians and contribute to technical standards.

Requirements

• Strong experience as a Structural Technician within consultancy.
• Advanced Revit and AutoCAD capability.
• Solid understanding of structural detailing and construction methods.
• Experience coordinating models with other disciplines.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Relevant technical qualification (HNC/HND/BTEC or similar).
