About the Role

A permanent position has arisen for a Senior Structural Revit Technician in Bristol, offering £45,000 to £60,000 annually plus hybrid working and 25 days holiday. The successful candidate will join a progressive structural engineering consultancy, producing high-quality building structures models and drawings while supporting continued growth. Working alongside engineers, the technician will take ownership of project delivery, applying modern software and demonstrating sound commercial awareness. Strong Revit skills and knowledge of buildability are essential, together with the ability to work autonomously. This senior technical role suits someone with aspirations toward BIM lead responsibilities, and scope exists to move directly into that leading position.

We are representing a progressive and forward-thinking structural engineering consultancy as they look to appoint a Senior Structural Technician to support their continued growth in Bristol. This is a strong opportunity for an ambitious technician who enjoys taking ownership of their work, contributing to high-quality building structures projects and developing within a supportive technical environment.
At minimum, this person would be joining at a senior technical level with aspirations to for BIM lead position, there is also scope for this person to move straight into this leading role.
We are looking for someone who is technically and commercially astute with a solid understanding of the buildability of projects but also the application of modern software. Responsibilities
- Delivering structural modelling, drawing production and detailing across a variety of building structures projects.
- Working on a diverse mix of major developments, sensitive projects and smaller bespoke structures.
- Supporting design and specification development for contractor clients and client organisations.
- Collaborating with engineers, clients, contractors and wider design teams to consider buildability, commercial requirements and operational performance.
- Communicating directly with clients during project development, with senior support available where appropriate.
- Contributing to the development, maintenance and monitoring of BIM best practice across the business.
- Staying informed about emerging software, digital tools and process improvements that could strengthen technical delivery.
