POSITION :  Senior Structural Engineer

LOCATION : Commutable from Doncaster , Selby , Grimsby , Lincoln , Beverley , Hull , Driffield, Scunthorpe, York

THE ROLE :   This is a great opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer to join an established and well respected consultancy.  They cover a wide range of sectors and you will have the opportunity to highlight your structural expertise on some exciting projects.  As a Structural Engineer you will lead structural design activities, mentor Junior Engineers , manage project delivery and maintain strong client relationships

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the structural design and analysis of projects across a variety of sectors.
• Produce and review engineering calculations, specifications, technical reports, and detailed design drawings.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant UK Standards, Eurocodes, client requirements, and industry best practices.
• Undertake independent checking and approval of calculations and design work completed by other engineers.
• Manage project deliverables, programmes, and resources.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to graduate and junior engineers.
• Liaise directly with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
•  Attend site visits, surveys, inspections, and meetings as required.
• Support business development activities and contribute to the continued growth of the company.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING :

•  A Degree (BEng/MEng) in Structural Engineering.
•  A minimum of 7 years'' post-graduate structural design experience.
• Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or be working towards chartership.
• Proven experience delivering structural engineering projects within industrial, infrastructure, energy, Residential, Education, Healthcare, or related sectors.
• Strong knowledge of UK design standards, Eurocodes, and relevant industry regulations.
• Experience using structural analysis and design software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• A proactive approach with strong problem-solving and leadership capabilities.
