The Role

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will take a leading role in the design and delivery of a diverse range of projects across residential, commercial, cultural, heritage, and specialist sectors. You will manage projects from concept through to completion, working closely with clients, architects, and contractors to develop elegant and efficient structural solutions.

Alongside your technical responsibilities, you will mentor junior engineers, contribute to project management, and play an active role in maintaining the high design standards the practice is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and delivery of complex projects
• Manage client, architect, and contractor relationships
• Oversee project programmes, budgets, and resource allocation
• Produce and review calculations, reports, and technical drawings
• Mentor and develop junior members of the team
• Contribute to winning new work and strengthening client relationships
• Work collaboratively with architects on design-focused schemes

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Chartered or working towards Chartership
• Proven experience within a UK structural engineering consultancy
• Strong technical knowledge across steel, concrete, timber, and masonry design
• Experience leading projects and managing client relationships
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• A passion for architecturally led and technically challenging projects
