About the Role

This permanent post as a Senior Structural Engineer in Cardiff sits with an award-winning consultancy. Working on a hybrid pattern, the successful applicant will lead design and delivery on schemes valued up to hundreds of millions of pounds. Duties span client and stakeholder engagement, hands-on design, site visits and report writing. Candidates need a structural background, a passion for solving challenging requirements, and the ambition to progress towards a director's position. Salary is £45,000 to £60,000, plus 25 days holiday and profit share. The team covers several civil and structural sectors, so varied technical experience is beneficial.

We have fantastic new opportunity for an experienced structural engineer in Cardiff who is looking to make the move into a senior design position. We need someone from a structural background who is passionate about design and delivery solutions to challenging requirements. This role is for an award-winning engineering consultancy in Cardiff with a skilled team covering several civil and structural engineering sectors.
Project values extend up and into the hundreds of millions and include schemes of high local significance. The successful candidate will be joining with the view to working into a director’s position.
Responsibilities would include but not limited to:
- Client and stakeholder engagement
- Hands on design
- Site visits
- Report writing
- Undertaking CPD
- Attending and contributing to team meetings
