Senior Structural Engineer

My client, a highly-respected, forward-thinking Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their growing team of design engineering experts, based in the large, diverse, vibrant city of Birmingham. Essential Criteria: - Extensive experience in the Structural Engineering sector, having worked across a range of commercial and residential projects in a consultancy setting- A Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil and Structural Engineering, or other relevant discipline- Demonstrable experience of industry-based project management- Knowledge of the relevant section agreements, including S106, S278, etc., and their respective applications within the industry- Experience of stakeholder engagement across the public and private sectors, with particular commercial knowledge and awareness- Good working knowledge of a range of software packages, including AutoCAD, Tekla, etc. It would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Senior Structural Engineer to possess the following: - Chartered Membership of a recognised Professional Body, or actively working to achieve this- Excellent communication skills, with some experience of stakeholder management- Good time management skills, with the ability to remain flexible and adaptable across a range of projects- A willingness to engage with a variety of projects, with a view to proactively developing your career In your exciting new role of Senior Structural Engineer, you will ..... full job details .....
