Senior Structural EngineerLocation: East Midlands, UKType: Full-Time PermanentAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join a friendly and growing consultancy in the East Midlands. As a small to medium-sized practice, they work across a wide range of projects including residential extensions, structural alterations, historic buildings, and small to medium-scale developments.This role would suit a well-rounded engineer who enjoys working closely with clients, taking ownership of projects, and being involved in both design and structural surveys.Key Responsibilities of this Senior Structural Engineer role;Lead and manage a variety of structural engineering projects from concept through to completion.Design structural solutions using materials including masonry, steel, and timber.Deliver designs for residential and domestic projects, including extensions, loft conversions, and structural alterations such as steel beam installations.Carry out structural inspections and site surveys.Prepare clear structural reports and technical assessments for clients, architects, and contractors.Work closely with homeowners, architects, and builders to develop practical and cost-effective solutions.Provide technical guidance to junior engineers where required.Requirements for this Senior Structural Engineer role;Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or related discipline).Several years'' experience working in a UK-based structural engineering ..... full job details .....
