Principal Engineer - Structural EngineeringAn established, award-winning, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Principal Engineer to join its existing structural engineering teams in Higham Ferrers or Peterborough.The successful candidate will work with a range of major international clients across sectors including automotive, commercial, industrial, retail, education and residential, providing high-quality structural engineering solutions from concept through to completion.Key Responsibilities of this Principal Structural Engineer role;Act as the main client contact for structural engineering projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.Undertake detailed structural analysis and design in accordance with relevant codes and standards.Oversee departmental workload, resource planning, budgets and financial performance, ensuring efficient project delivery and protection of margins.Mentor and support engineers and technical staff, encouraging a collaborative and high-performing team environment.Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert structural engineering advice and solutions.Review and approve engineering designs, specifications and reports to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.Keep up to date with industry developments, technologies and best practice, incorporating these into project delivery where appropriate.Collaborate with architects, contractors and other ..... full job details .....
