Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join a dynamic consultancy in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a Chartered or near-Chartered engineer to lead and deliver a diverse range of projects, from large-scale developments valued between 5 million and 200 million to detailed assessments of existing structures. The Senior Structural Engineer will be responsible for providing comprehensive structural engineering services, working independently under the guidance of senior management, and having ample opportunities for professional development and career progression. Key ResponsibilitiesReport directly to senior management, taking direction from the lead of the structural engineering team.Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring deliverables are issued in accordance with the project programme, to the required quality standard, and within budget.Monitor and report on the financial performance of projects, including resourcing requirements, to senior management, and assist in managing team resources to align with the commercial and business objectives of the team.Serve as lead or sole designer, responsible for the full design process from outline scheme to detailed design, producing technical deliverables.Conduct structural analysis and design in compliance with the Eurocode suite of design codes, ensuring designs are economic, sustainable, efficient, and buildable.Oversee the production of ..... full job details .....
