Social network you want to login/join with:As a Senior Engineer in our team, you will support the delivery of our global portfolio of projects through various levels of development (conceptual, FEED, and detailed design projects) for major offshore wind turbine generator assets, along with developing innovative solutions for repair and upgrades.You’ll design and analyze both fixed and floating structures to be designed for the growing offshore renewables sector, actively helping to reduce the effects of climate change.Key Responsibilities:Design and analyze offshore structures, including fixed and floating foundation design for offshore wind turbine generators and substations, considering site-specific hydrodynamic loads and environmental conditions.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver structural engineering projects ensuring compliance with industry design standards (API, DNV, NORSOK, etc.) and certification requirements.Assess, review, and interpret technical inputs required for offshore structural design.Prepare technical reports and supervise the drafting of manufacturing drawings for the designs created.Ensure all design work is performed, reviewed, checked, and approved in accordance with engineering procedures or as specified in a Project Quality Plan.Experience, Education, and Other Requirements:Relevant experience in the offshore industry, focusing on either Primary or Secondary Steel design, preferably for Offshore Wind Turbine Generator Foundations.Master’s degree in Offshore Structures, Ocean Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a relevant discipline, with a strong understanding of Structural Mechanics and Hydrodynamics.Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership.Proficiency in SESAM or SACS software is considered ideal; practical experience with comparable software is also acceptable.A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, adaptable to diverse working environments.Knowledge of programming and scripting skills (Python or VBA) is an advantage but not mandatory.A “can-do” attitude, capacity to learn from others, and persuasiveness in presenting technical work.Read more about how you can thrive with us:
