Senior Stress Engineer

PWHytek Ltd are recruiting for-Senior Stress Engineers-to support-a major nuclear project on a 12 month contract inside IR35. The client is ideally looking for the engineers to start asap-and as such-they require the team to hold live SC or DV Clearances or be able to obtain this.

The client is offering a hybrid-work pattern in one of their-Winchester site.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting assessments and modelling
• Producing documentation and reports
• Working with the design team to ensure that work can be delivered in line with scope
• Supporting design changes

Requirements:

• Fracture, fatigue crack growth analysis experience
• Defect tolerance assessments
• Familiar with design codes and standards for a safety critical industry
• Solid experience in the field of mechanical engineering with successful project delivery
• Experience working on defence and/or nuclear projects (desirable)
• Sufficient experience to carry out the role with little assistance
