Street Lighting Engineer
We are recruiting for an experienced Street Lighting Engineer to support the Principal Engineer in managing the design team and delivering a variety of street lighting schemes and the borough''s street lighting maintenance programme.
You will also support the coordination and liaison with the term maintenance contractor to ensure schemes are delivered efficiently and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
·Support the Principal Engineer in managing and guiding design team members.
·Oversee the delivery of street lighting schemes and the maintenance programme.
·Review drawings and designs to ensure compliance with relevant standards and internal processes.
·Provide technical advice to clients and take a lead role in project meetings.
·Produce documents and reports across all design stages.
·Analyse data to propose improvements and interventions.
·Assist in coordinating with the term maintenance contractor to support programme delivery.

Person Specification - About You
·Enthusiastic and confident in managing team members to deliver schemes.
·Strong technical knowledge of street lighting design and maintenance processes.
·Able to advise and influence clients on technical design queries.
·Previous experience within Local Authority and consultancy environments is advantageous.
·Local knowledge of the Kingston and Sutton highway network.
·Knowledge of street lighting maintenance programmes is highly desirable.
