role at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.The unit operates Monday – Sunday from 08:00 to 20:00, with shifts from 08:00–18:00 or 10:00–20:00. Patients are admitted to ambulatory care from GP referrals, direct referrals from the Emergency Department, or as existing inpatients. This role provides an opportunity to develop clinical, nursing and leadership skills within a friendly, supportive environment that emphasizes education and reflective supervision.Trust profile: Homerton is an integrated NHS foundation trust serving Hackney, East London, The City and beyond. The Trust has achieved an Outstanding rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).Location: Homerton Row, London, E9 6SR. Band 6, permanent contract. Working pattern: Full-time or Part-time.Main duties and responsibilities

You will be a first level nurse who is motivated and willing to learn in this fast-moving clinical area. Post-registration experience is essential; Accident and Emergency or Acute experience is desirable.Demonstrate excellent clinical knowledge and translate this into effective nursing care.Lead the shift and have an in-depth understanding of the Emergency Care Pathway; manage emergency presentations.Be an effective communicator able to work within a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.Be flexible and capable of influencing change while providing high-quality nursing care.Qualifications and essential requirements

Registered NurseWillingness to undertake further training/developmentSubstantial post-qualification experienceExperience of managing your own caseloadExperience working in Emergency Care PathwayExperience as an ''in charge'' nursePost-registration nursing knowledge aligned with ongoing learningConfidentiality and professional standards complianceUnderstanding of the Trust valuesCurrent UK professional registrationAbility to obtain Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as requiredOther information
