Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer

Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer Work Arrangement: Hybrid, with up to 2 days onsite per week. At Stryker, this role plays a key part in advancing the development of medical device products by applying deep mechanical engineering expertise to complex product and subsystem design challenges. As a senior technical contributor, you will lead defined technical workstreams, help translate user and business needs into engineering solutions, and support the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer, regulatory, and business requirements. What You Will Do Lead the research, design, development, modification, evaluation, and improvement of mechanical and electro-mechanical modules, assemblies, and subsystems. Translate user needs into design inputs and specifications and independently develop complex system-level designs. Plan, execute, and guide advanced prototyping, testing, design verification, and technical problem-solving activities. Drive resolution of complex product design issues and support continuous product and process improvements. Explore emerging technologies and contribute to innovation activities, including invention disclosures, patents, and trade secrets. Develop and refine engineering documentation, including Design History File content and technical design records, in accordance with applicable medical device requirements. Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, and Project Management teams to support successful product ..... full job details .....
