Senior SQL Server Developer

Senior SQL Server Developer needed for our Consultancy client for an engagement in Glasgow. The right candidate must have extensive demonstrable experience in SQL Server Development utilising T-SQL, a track record of building and working with data warehouses and strong SQL performance tuning expertise. Previous experience working within Financial Services, Wealth Management or Asset Management environments would be highly desirable.The role is Inside IR35 and candidate will need to engage via an FCSA accredited Umbrella company. The role also requires candidates to work 2-days per week in the centre of Glasgow (though they will consider candidates who can work in the London office instead).Key Skills:Significant hands-on experience as a SQL Server Developer in enterprise environmentsStrong expertise in T-SQL developmentProven experience in SQL performance tuning andamp; troubleshooting (indexes, execution plans, waits, IO, memory)Strong experience building and working with data warehouses/data platformsExperience with data quality, testing and production supportGood understanding of data security/controls, ideally from a regulated environmentAble to work independently and engage confidently with technical and business stakeholdersDesirable SkillsGit/GitLab, CI/CD and Scripting experienceIf interested, able to work in Glasgow (or London) 2 days per week and available, please Apply Immediately!Head Resourcing is committed to being an inclusive business where diversity is ..... full job details .....
