Role: Senior SQL Server DBA/DeveloperLocation: Norwich (onsite)Salary: Up to 55k DOEI''m working on behalf of a well-established UK organisation specialising in financial data and technology solutions, seeking an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator to join its internal IT team. The business provides critical financial product data used by major banks, regulators and government bodies across the UK and has been a leader in financial data services for more than 30 years.Reporting to the Software Development Manager, this role will focus on maintaining and developing database infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security and performance across key systems while supporting new product development.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and support existing SQL Server databases and infrastructureDevelop database modules and software components to meet client requirementsDesign and propose database architecture and infrastructure improvementsProduce and maintain technical documentation including standards and proceduresEnsure development best practices including code reviews, testing and standardsMentor and support other members of the technical teamExperience and Skills RequiredStrong experience in a SQL Server DBA or similar roleProven experience with SQL Server (2014/2017) database development and managementSolid understanding of database design and query optimisationExperience with C# .NET desktop developmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to ..... full job details .....
